Thanks to the Televisa Foundation, the spot of the Marine
Vaquita, the world's smallest cetacean, has reached hundreds
of Mexican families.
WWF and its collaborators, among them Unidos para la Conservacion,
Agrupacion Sierra Madre and Centro Intercultural de Estudios
de Desiertos y Océanos, are responsible for this production.
Young and Rubicam was in charge of the creative aspects.
The spot lasts 30 seconds and it mainly consists on a shot
of a mother and baby vaquitas moving in the water. The image
opens slowly and viewers realize it is only a photograph.
There are only 600 hundred left, states the narrator.
The message goes on ending with this invitation: "Act so
the Vaquita won't become a memory".
